Visitors had the opportunity to hear from numerous experts from the public sector, the field of economics, the IT industry, entrepreneurship, as well as academia, who jointly made efforts to shed light on the transformation of the economy and education in the context of accelerated development of artificial intelligence. They aimed to uncover current trends and challenges, as well as future tendencies in the development of the innovation and startup ecosystem.
A key point of the 7th Forum was how Serbia is adapting and becoming a leader in the era of technological innovations. Panelists who witness the development of our country's innovation and startup ecosystem on a daily basis contributed to this discussion.
During the panel on "Transformation of Serbia's Innovation Ecosystem," they discussed how new technologies shape the innovation landscape and how Serbia can leverage these technologies for its progress. The panel included:
- Vladan Atanasijevic, "Comtrade";
- Jovan Miljkovic, World Bank;
- Vladimir Radovanovic, Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation;
- Stefan Badza, Advisor in the Cabinet of the President of the Republic of Serbia.
The panel was moderated by Aleksandar Milićević from the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Niš.
As part of the forum, a virtual Specialized Job Fair was organized, and the interactive networking space allowed participants to exchange experiences, knowledge, and contacts, significantly contributing to new collaborations and ideas that will impact the development and transformation of the innovation ecosystem in the Southern and Eastern Serbia Region.
The Advanced Technology Forum in Niš has thus become a significant platform for connecting science, technology, business, and education, contributing to the strengthening of the innovation culture in Serbia and opening new possibilities for the development and application of new technologies in various sectors.
