AI in Secondary Schools

The goal of the curriculum in secondary schools is to develop students' knowledge and skills for efficient, creative, safe and conscientious use of modern technologies in the living and learning environments and continuous monitoring of the development of modern technologies for further personal and professional development.

 

In the third and fourth grade in grammar schools within the elective subject Modern Technology, students learn twice a week during the school year how to reliably, critically, safely and responsibly use modern technologies to solve problems, how modern technologies work and how to apply logical and algorithmic thinking in order to solve problems in everyday situations.

 

The program of teaching and learning in grammar schools for students with special abilities in computer sciences and informatics aims to develop key competencies in students necessary for further education and the active role of citizens for life in modern society, train students to make independent decisions on the choice of occupation and further education, raise awareness of the importance of health and safety, as well as train students in problem solving skills, communication and teamwork.
