A round table discussion on "Artificial intelligence in education and the digital well-being of pupils and students" was conducted in the Palace of Serbia, with representatives from Serbia's Institute for Artificial Intelligence among the participants. The discussion examined new trends in the field of АI as well as the possibility of boosting education through the use of AI to help students obtain better results.
How can AI be used to improve education?

During the discussion, the most recent results of research and practice in the field of AI and education were presented, and the use of artificial intelligence in personalized learning, assessment, and student support, potential benefits and risks of using AI in education, privacy and surveillance issues, and the effects of artificial intelligence on mental health were discussed.
The meeting gathered together researchers, educators, and decision makers to discuss how to use АI properly and ethically in education. Additionally, opportunities and problems within the many components of digital well-being were mapped, and ideas for boosting students' digital well-being in the modern age were examined.
