The agreement was signed by the Minister of Information and Telecommunications, Mihailo Jovanovic, and the company's general manager for Europe, Cameron Brooks, and will enable collaboration in the fields of innovation and economic development through the training of personnel for the application of cutting-edge cloud technologies.
Brnabic assessed that today is another excellent day for the ICT industry, for the digitization of Serbia and all public services of eGovernment, through education, the health system, and generally offering better, more transparent, and efficient services to the economy and all residents.
According to her, the purpose of the Serbian government has always been to serve residents and the economy in order to increase our competitiveness as a destination for sophisticated technologies, which will result in much faster and more dynamic economic growth and development in Serbia.
According to Jovanovic, by signing this agreement with AWS, one of the most comprehensive and well known cloud service providers in the world, collaboration in the sphere of innovation and economic development is established, based on the development and usage of cloud technologies.
